water is polluted because they use a lot of heavy metals.

transported in ships, a few ships can have oil spills, because of this, too many
fish and birds die.

oil is drilled, miners use too much water, this water ends up polluted,
besides, the drilling pollutes the groundwater, due to this too many
animals and people that depend on this water are affected.

When the industrial waste from the extraction of oil
is dumped on the soil, it loses its fertility because the waste contains too
many chemicals that alter the composition of the soil.
